HOUSTON FURNITURE BANK
The Houston Furniture Bank is committed to “making empty houses homes” for thousands of people in need. They provide essential furniture to families in transition.
Through their No Kids on the Floor campaign, we have helped to provide mattress sets and soft goods for hundreds of children across the city of Houston. Our founder, Laura Umansky, is a member of the advisory board and every holiday season, we organize a donation drive to support the cause.
GIRLS EMPOWERMENT NETWORK
Girls Empowerment Network’s mission is to ignite the power of girls by teaching them the skills to thrive and believe in their ability to be unstoppable.
As a women-owned business, the Laura U Design Collective team is proud to support the We Are Girls Conference, an annual meet up that encourages young women to find their power through self-efficacy.
ANDERSON RANCH ARTS CENTER
Years of service to the Aspen Snowmass community and a mission to encourage creativity and engage people of all age sets the Center apart. The Center offers everything from workshops and artist talks to internships and scholarships. Their commitment to both the arts and the Snowmass community has inspired all of us at Laura U Design Collective.
Laura and her husband Michael have long admired the mission of Anderson Ranch Arts Center, and are honored to be on their National Council.
ASPEN YOUTH CENTER
The Aspen Youth Center is a cornerstone for youth in the Roaring Fork Valley community. They are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive place where youth in grades 4 through 12 connect, learn, and grow during their out of school hours, for free.
Laura’s twin girls attend AYC and our team has seen first-hand the benefits they provide the community. We love sponsoring their annual Aether Games and their well-known gala.
